Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your data from Autonomy and how to revoke the social accounts you have connected. Autonomy is operated by Ever After Press. You can reach us through the contact form on our Support page at https://autonomy.everafterpress.co.uk/support.
Disconnect a social account (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
If you have connected a Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok account and want us to stop using it and delete the data tied to it:
- Sign in to Autonomy at https://autonomy.everafterpress.co.uk.
- Go to your account or connections settings.
- Select the connected account and choose Disconnect.
When you disconnect an account, we immediately delete the stored OAuth access and refresh tokens and the basic profile data we held for that connection, and we stop posting to it. You can also remove Autonomy's access from within the social platform's own app settings (for example, in your Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok security or connected-apps settings).
Request deletion of your account and data
To delete your wider Autonomy data, you can either use the in-app account deletion option in your account settings, where available, or send us a request through the contact form on our Support page at https://autonomy.everafterpress.co.uk/support, or by email at hello@everafterpress.co.uk, using the subject "Data Deletion Request". Please send your request from, or while signed in to, the account you want deleted, so we can verify it.
What we delete
When you ask us to delete your data, we remove any stored social account tokens (access and refresh tokens) and the basic profile data for your connected Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts; your account information and profile; and your manuscripts, book files, covers, and other content stored in Autonomy.
We may need to keep a limited set of records where the law requires it (for example payment and tax records held by us or by Stripe). Where we keep such records, we keep only what is necessary and for no longer than required.
Timeframe
We action social account disconnections immediately. For full account and data deletion requests, we complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your request, and we will confirm by email once it is done.
